Public Notice in Compliance with the Road Traffic Act 1994 (Section 38) as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46)

Clár Feabhsúcháin na Stadanna Bus / Bus Stop Enhancement Programme

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Kerry County Council proposes the provision of a Bus Stop & Shelter to be located on Kit Ahern Road (L-6202), Ballybunion, Co. Kerry.

The proposed works are located on the Kit Ahern Road (L-6202) in Ballybunion. The proposed works will involve the following:

  • Construction of a bus stop platform
  • Provision of a bus stop pole and signage
  • Provision of a bus shelter
  • Construction of approximately 50 metres of footpath to link the bus stop platform to the existing public footpath
  • Construction of a raised table
  • Provision of associated drainage works and road markings

Drawing(s) showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at the following Kerry County Council Municipal District Offices during normal office hours, from Wednesday, 1st April to Friday, 24th April 2026.

It will also be advertised on Kerry County Council’s website www.kerrycoco.ie
