Temporary Public Toilets at the Fair Green Field, Cahersiveen.

Public Notice in Compliance with Part XI of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) as set down in Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended).

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, Notice is hereby given that Kerry County Council proposes to carry out the development, particulars of which are set out hereunder.

Nature and extent of the Proposed Works

Kerry County Council proposes to provide temporary Public Toilets at the Fair Green Field, Cahersiveen to facilitate the renovation works to the Carnegie Building and existing public toilets, Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry. These toilets will be removed after the completion of the renovation works.

The proposed project elements are as follows:

• New unit consisting of separate Male & Female toilets.
• New Accessible toilet unit.
• New Cleaners store unit.
• All associated ancillary works.

Kerry County Council as the Competent Authority has concluded that the proposed project, individually, and in combination with other plans and projects, is not one which requires an Appropriate Assessment (AA) or an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and is not likely to have significant effects on the environment.

Pursuant to Article 120(3)(b) a member of the public, may at any time before the expiration of 4 weeks beginning on the date of the publication of this notice, seek an EIA screening determination from An Bord Pleanála as to whether the proposed development would have significant effects on the environment.

Chinn Comhairle Contae Chiarraí mar an tÚdarás Inniúil nach tionscadal é an tionscadal atá beartaithe, ina aonar, agus in éineacht le pleananna agus tionscadail eile, a bhfuil Measúnacht Chuí (MC) nó Measúnacht Tionchair Timpeallachta (MTT) ag teastáil ina leith agus nach dócha go mbeidh éifeachtaí suntasacha aige ar an gcomhshaol.

De bhun Airteagal 120(3)(b), féadfaidh ball den phobal, tráth ar bith roimh 4 seachtaine ó dháta foilsithe an fhógra seo, cinneadh scagtha MTT a lorg ón mBord Pleanála i dtaobh an mbeadh éifeachtaí suntasacha ag an bhforbairt bheartaithe ar an gcomhshaol.
