Clár Feabhsúcháin na Stadanna Bus / Bus Stop Enhancement Programme


In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Kerry County Council hereby gives notice of its intention for the provision of Bus Stop Platforms at the following locations:
•Abbeydorney (R556)
•Ballyduff (L-6253)
•Ballylongford (R551)
•Causeway (L-1034)
•Lixnaw (R557)
•Moyvane (L-1021)
•Tarbert (N 69)


The proposed works will include the following:

•Construction of bus stop platforms
•Provision of bus stop poles and signage
•Provision of associated drainage works and road markings


Drawing(s) showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at the following Kerry County Council Municipal District Offices during normal office hours, from Wednesday, 22nd April to Friday, 15th May 2026.

It will also be advertised on Kerry County Council’s website www.kerrycoco.ie

Observations or representations in relation to the proposal may be made, in writing, and marked Section 38 Bus Stop Platforms to the Administrative Officer, Capital Development Unit North, Kerry County Council, Princes Quay, Tralee, Co. Kerry V92 YX54
