Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Kerry County Council proposes junction improvement works at Cahernane, Muckross Road, Killarney, Co. Kerry.

The proposed works will involve:

  1. Improved junction definition
  2. Raised Table Crossing of the junction linking the active travel facilities onto the Jarvey Path
  3. All ancillary works.

Drawings showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at the following locations during normal office hours, for a period of one month, from Wednesday, 5th August 2026

Killarney Municipal District Office, Kerry County Council, Town Hall, Killarney
Roads Maintenance & Operational Services, Room 115, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee

It will also be advertised on the Kerry County Council website – www.kerrycoco.ie

Observations or representations in relation to the proposal may be made, in writing and marked Section 38 – Proposed Junction Improvement Works at Cahernane, Muckross Road, Killarney, Co. Kerry to the Administrative Officer, Roads Maintenance & Operational Services, Room 115, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry
