Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Kerry County Council proposes a streetscape enhancement project in Ballybunion.
The proposed works will involve:
Proposed raised table and zebra crossings with associated signing and lining at the Sandhill/Strand Road junction.
Proposed Zebra crossings with associated signing and lining on existing raised table at Main Street/Cliff Road Junction.
Proposed Zebra crossings with associated signing and lining on existing raised table at Main Street/SuperValu carpark junction.
Drawings showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at the following locations during normal office hours, for a period of one month, from Wednesday, 13th May 2026
Listowel Municipal District Office, Kerry County Council, Arás an Phiarsaigh, Charles Street, Listowel
Roads Maintenance & Operational Services, Room 115, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee
It will also be advertised on the Kerry County Council website – www.kerrycoco.ie
Observations or representations in relation to the proposal may be made, in writing and marked Section 38 – Proposed Streetscape Enhancement Project Ballybunion, Co. Kerry to the Administrative Officer, Roads Maintenance & Operational Services, Room 115, Kerry County Council, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry
and must be received by 4pm on Friday, 12th June 2026.
