Public Notice in Compliance with the Road Traffic Act 1994 (Section 38) as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46)
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 38 (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1994, as amended by the Public Transportation Regulation Act, 2009 (Section 46), Kerry County Council proposes to introduce traffic calming measures at The Wood, Dingle, Co. Kerry.
The proposed works are as follows:
Upgrading of the existing controlled zebra pedestrian crossing at Dingle Tourism Office to 4m in width
Upgrading of the existing controlled pelican pedestrian crossing at Dingle Aquarium to raised controlled pelican pedestrian crossing,
Introduction of an uncontrolled raised pedestrian crossing at Wave Dingle
Introduction of an uncontrolled raised pedestrian crossing adjacent to Brian de Staic Jewellers.
All ancillary works.
Drawings showing the location of the proposed works may be inspected at the following locations during normal office hours, for a period of one month, from Thursday, 26th March 2026
