KERRY THRIVE – Town Centre First Heritage Revival Scheme

ONLINE SURVEY

Introduction text

Kerry County Council is participating in THRIVE - Town Centre First Heritage Revival Scheme, an initiative co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern, Eastern and Midland Regional Programme 2021-2027.

The THRIVE programme focuses on revitalising urban centres by repurposing heritage buildings, contributing to both community renewal and heritage conservation.

THRIVE Kerry aims to strengthen the town centres in Killarney and Tralee, through the preparation of an Integrated Urban Strategy for each town centre. In addition, two heritage buildings will be selected, one in Killarney and one in Tralee, that could be adapted and used more effectively for the benefit of the community.  One of these buildings will be put forward for a THRIVE funding bid in April 2025.

Kerry County Council is seeking your input to shape the Integrated Urban Strategies, and to consider how a historic space could be used to address community / other Town Centre needs.
