Observations

Chapter 14: Connectivity

Under objective KCDP 14-28, the draft states that the council will “Avoid the creation of any additional access point from new development or the generation of increased traffic from existing accesses to National Roads to which speed limits greater than 60 km/h apply. This provision applies to all categories of development, including individual houses in rural areas, regardless of the housing circumstances of the applicant.” Can KCC and TII outline how the generation of increased traffic from existing accesses is assessed or proven and therefore, included as an objective of this plan?
