Fógra Poiblí de réir Chuid XI den Acht Pleanála agus Forbartha, 2000 (arna leasú), mar atá leagtha síos i gCuid 8 de na Rialacháin Pleanála agus Forbartha, 2001 (arna leasú).

De bhun cheanglais an Achta thuasluaite, tugtar Fógra leis seo go mbeartaíonn Comhairle Contae Chiarraí an fhorbairt a chur i gcrích, a bhfuil sonraí na forbartha sin leagtha amach thíos.

Public Notice in Compliance with Part XI of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) as set down in Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended).

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, Notice is hereby given that Kerry County Council proposes to carry out the development, particulars of which are set out hereunder.

(ii)     Sonraí faoin bhforbairt atá molta / Nature and extent of the Proposed Works

Tá sé beartaithe ag Comhairle Contae Chiarraí saoráid leithreas poiblí nua a sholáthar i nDaingean Uí Chúis, suite ar an láthair ar a bhfuil na leithris poiblí atá ann cheana.

Cuimseofar an méid seo a leanas sna hoibreacha beartaithe:

• Tógáil saoráide leithreas poiblí nua
• Tógáil limistéar nua réimse phoiblí in aice leis an tsaoráid

Kerry County Council proposes to provide a new public convenience facility in Daingean Uí Chúis/Dingle, located on the site of the existing public toilets.

The proposed works will include the following:

• Construction of a new public convenience facility
• Construction of new public realm area adjacent to the facility

• Scartáil an bhloic leithreas poiblí atá ann cheana
• Soláthar áiseanna sealadacha leithreas poiblí le húsáid le linn chéim na tógála

• Demolition of existing public toilet block
• Provision of temporary public toilet facilities for use during the construction stage

Tá Comhairle Contae Chiarraí, mar an tÚdarás Inniúil, tar éis teacht ar an gconclúid nach tionscadal é an tionscadal beartaithe, ina aonar agus i gcomhar le pleananna agus tionscadail eile, a dteastaíonn Measúnú Cuí (MC) ná Measúnacht Tionchair Timpeallachta (MTT) in leith agus nach dócha go mbeidh éifeachtaí suntasacha aige ar an gcomhshaol.

De bhun Airteagal 120(3)(b) féadfaidh duine den phobal, am ar bith roimh dhul in éag 4 seachtaine ag tosú ar dháta fhoilsiú an fhógra seo, cinneadh scagtha MTT a lorg ón mBord Pleanála maidir le cibé an mbeadh éifeachtaí suntasacha ag an bhforbairt bheartaithe ar an gcomhshaol.

Kerry County Council as the Competent Authority has concluded that the proposed project, individually, and in combination with other plans and projects, is not one which requires an Appropriate Assessment (AA) or an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and is not likely to have significant effects on the environment.

Pursuant to Article 120(3)(b) a member of the public, may at any time before the expiration of 4 weeks beginning on the date of the publication of this notice, seek an EIA screening determination from An Bord Pleanála as to whether the proposed development would have significant effects on the environment.
