Kerry Local Economic Community Plan 2023-2029 Consultation
The Kerry Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) and the Economic Development, Enterprise and Community Strategic Policy Committee have commenced a process to prepare a Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) for the period 2023-2029. The Local Economic and Community Plan will provide a 6-year high-level framework and two-year implementation plan to address the needs of those who live, work and visit the County.
Public Consultation
We are interested in your views and welcome your submissions. Your support and participation are essential to ensure the success of the plan.
Kerry County Council have prepared a draft Socio-Economic Statement. This document sets out the purpose of the LECP, the policy context that it is framed within, and provides key highlights on the socio-economic profile of Kerry.
Draft High Levels Goals for the integrated plan which will be supported by specific Sustainable Objectives under the respective economic and community streams have been included for your consideration.
To inform the next LECP for the county, we want you to share with us your vision for Kerry and provide feedback on our proposed goals to help us establish the key outcomes we will deliver across the key themes of climate action, community and local development, economic development, and health and wellbeing.
Your views will help to shape the direction the next Local Economic & Community Plan will take.

How to have your say
A Citizen Survey is available online to allow you engage with the draft plan's objectives. This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will close on Wednesday the 28th of February 2024.
