I would like to express my concern at the very restrictive village boundaries that are shown on the draft plan.
The boundaries as they stand on the plan do not allow for the development of much needed housing in our villages, especially due to the restrictive planning in the surrounding areas. Housing is becoming increasingly important in sustaining a viable population on the island. I would expect that the village boundaries are expanded to accommodate the housing needs of both present and future Islanders.
Furthermore, Chapletown is in urgent need of a public sewage treatment plant.
