In the text relating to Portmagee, point 3.4.8.8 it states that there may be some seasonal tidal / coastal flooding along the waterfront in Portmagee. There has never been flooding on the waterfront in Portmagee village. Further to this my property in the Village (folio no KY17762 / no 29) along with my mothers (28 on map) and neighbours houses (25,26,27) on the attached map has been deemed a flood zone. None of these houses have ever been flooded. A number of years ago we took steps to protect our properties in the event of rising tides and we jointly built a sea wall which ensures none of these properties will be flooded.
Based on this information I would request that the flood zone be removed from these properties.
