County Kerry is crying out for major tourist attractions and now with the South Kerry Greenway under construction, a project that will attract hundreds of thousands of additional visitors each year when completed, one such tourist attraction that should be examined is the feasibility of providing a Cable Car overlooking Rossbeigh Beach and Dingle Bay with its panoramic views on one side of Rossbeigh mountain and on the other side Curra Mountain and forestry, Drom mountain, the river, valley and lakes. Cable Cars worldwide are huge tourist attractions and such a facility in Glenbeigh, will be a spectacular facility. There is an existing track road up to the top of this mountain with a large car parking area. I believe this submission should be seriously considered and that it should also be included in Kerry County Council's Tourism Strategy.
