I support the inclusion of objective KCDP 10-62 in the draft Kerry County Development plan to progress Valentia Cable Station, the Slate Yard and other cable site on the island onto the UNESCO World Heritate list. This will create a year round economic activity onthe island, generate new jobs and other opportunities for the island including, hoefully the completion of the Marina. Valentia has laready benefitted from the process and will continue to benefit with Council working in partnership with the local community.
