As an educator and having professional and personal experience of Autism I propose that the infrastructure and facilities in town and communities around Kerry s become Autism friendly. A excellent guide on achieving this can be found in the following link https://asiam.ie/clonakilty-commitment-autism/ In the immediate short term perhaps Kerry County Council could consider allocating designated car spaces specifically for families of children with Autism. Overall more integration and inclusion to support families and sibling of individual with hidden disabilities should be significantly considered.
