Dear sir or madam i wish to make a submission on behalf of the westkerry dairy farmers SEC =sustainable community.As we ar about to compleate our energy master plan for the sec the learnings and findings to date need to be taken into consideration.we see that Anerobic digestion is important for the peninsula also devlopment of PV generation on the roofs of farm buildings as well as hydro production of energy and electricity,there is an abundance of water flowing down the mountains on the peninsula which would create a lot of hydroelectricity.
By adopting these renuable technologies the dairy sector could reduce its carbon emission’s considerably.we would ask the council to take this into consideration when compleateing the devlopment plan,thank you Denis
