The closing date for submissions on the Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Kenmare Municipal District Local Area Plan 20232-2029 was the 3rd of March 2024.
A Chief Executive's Report has been prepared on the submissions received.

A total of 39 submissions were received during the prescribed public consultation period.
A list of all the persons/bodies that made submissions or observations on the Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Local Area Plan during the prescribed consultation period is provided in the report.

This report summarises the issues raised in submissions, outlines the response of the Chief Executive, and recommendations in relation to the proposed material alteration to the draft local area plan.
Outcomes
A meeting to discuss the Chief Executive’s Report with the members of Kenmare Municipal District and adopt the Draft Kenmare Municipal District Local Area Plan was held on the 12th April 2024.
The Local Area Plan was adopted at this meeting on April 12th 2024 and will come into effect on May 24th 2024.
