Draft Kenmare Municipal District Local Area Plan 2023-2029
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 20(3)(e) of the Planning & Development Acts 2000 (as amended) that Kerry County Council proposes to make alterations to the Draft Kenmare Municipal District Local Area Plan 2023-2029.The proposed alterations would, if made, be a Material Alteration of the said Draft Local Area Plan.
In accordance with 20(3)(f) of the Planning & Development Acts 2000 (as amended) the Planning Authority has determined:
That a Strategic Environmental Assessment of one or more of the proposed material alterations is required; and
That following the preparation of a Habitats Directive Assessment Screening Exercise, a Stage II Appropriate Assessment of one or more of the proposed material alterations is not required.
Copies of the Proposed Material Alterationsto theDraft Kenmare Municipal District Local Area Plan 2023-2029 may be inspected from Thursday 1st February until Friday 1st March 2024(both dates inclusive) at the following locations:

Pursuant to Article 14G of the Planning & Development Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Regulations 2004-2011, information on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the proposed material alterations will also be available for inspection at the above dates and locations. The Habitats Directive Natura Impact Report Addendum Report on the proposed material alterations is similarly available for inspection.

Please make your submission by one medium only, i.e. via the online portal or in hard copy.
Email submissions will not be accepted.
All submissions should include your name and a contact address, a map (where appropriate) and, where relevant, details of any organisation, community group or company etc., which you represent.
Submissions or aspects of submissions relating to the Environmental Reports (SEA Addendum Report & Natura Impact Report Addendum Report) should be clearly marked as such.
Please note that all submission will be published online within 10 working days of receipt, along with your name in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended).

LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
