It is paramount that the Local Authorities would support the development of tourism infrastructure on the Skellig Coast, and particulary on Valentia Island to facilitate safe road access to tourism attractions, safe travel, car parks and information points for the visitors. It is also very important to support the UNESCO aplication for the Valentia Transatlantic Cable Station as an idustrial heritage site. All these wold help growing the economy in the area and have a positive impact on the local community.
