The closing date for submissions on the Draft Kenmare Municipal District Local Area Plan 20232-2029 was the 3rd of November 2023.
A Chief Executive's Report has been prepared on the submissions received.
Your views and suggestions
A total of 230 submissions were received during the prescribed public consultation period.
A list of all the persons/bodies that made submissions or observations on the Draft Local Area Plan during the prescribed consultation period is provided in the report.
Kerry County Council would like to thank everyone who made a submission.
This report summarises the issues raised in submissions and outlines the response of the Chief Executive as well as recommendations for changes to the Draft Local Area Plan where appropriate to address the issues raised.
Outcomes
A meeting to discuss the Chief Executive’s Report with the members of Kenmare Municipal District was held on the 11th January 2024.
The Local Area Plan was subject to Material Alterations, and was adopted by the members of Kenmare Municipal District on April 12th 2024 and the plan will come into effect on May 24th 2024.
